Howdy Neighbor

This blog is intended to be an online resource for news and updates for my neighborhood and the Patrick Henry Neighborhood Association. I hope this tool will make it easy to share information, and help people learn more about our square mile of Midtown Tulsa.

This meager start can eventually include other tools to better serve you. I'll list a few here, and I welcome you input, related links or suggestions.
  • Email Subscription
There are ways to notify subscribers by email whenever a new post has been published here.
  • Map of Area (done! 8/14/2008)
Show potential residents where we are by embedding a Google map.
  • Photo Gallery
It's pretty easy to post pictures here if they are in digital format.
  • Domain Name
If the PHNA wants to invest a few bucks we could register a web address that's easier to remember than patrickhenrytulsa.blogspot.com.
  • Banner Ads
Area businesses might be interested in supporting the neighborhood by purchasing an online advertisement.

No to this development. It is too much, too big. Development at this location is inevitable, but not this. Can you imagine going through what promises to be hell when the state redoes I-44 at Harvard and a massive project at Harvard and 41st. We will be prisoners. Come up with something sensible for 41st and Harvard, not an elephant.

Rex,
Thank you for your hard work on this blog. It could possibly make the Associations Officer's jobs a little easier. I look forward to seeing the comments posted by our neighbors. Of course, I hope they are all "glowing" but any conservative criticism will be welcome too.

The Neighborhood Association Link was a nice touch also, as well as, Tom and Bev's link. We'll have to work together to make the Associations link as nice as your blog.

Thank you again for your work,
Toni

We should focus on getting rid of the convenience store on the north east corner. maybe small office space. Replace it with QT on tree lot.....a CVS as much traffic as QT but less useful
